This product offers significant noise reduction by incorporating a composite design, featuring a loaded vinyl noise barrier with a scrim-reinforced aluminum foil facing on one side. This facing is bonded to a 1-inch sound-absorbing decoupler to ensure maximum acoustic performance. The combination of the mass-loaded vinyl and decoupling layer not only absorbs sound but also prevents vibration transmission, making it highly effective in controlling radiated noise.
Our pipe and duct wraps are ideal for use in a wide range of applications, from soil, waste, and sanitary drainage systems to water pipes. The acoustic lagging is manufactured with high-quality acoustic isolation foam and a mass barrier. It is designed to be cut to size, ensuring a neat fit for all pipework, with overlaps at all joints that are secured using appropriate foil tape for optimal sound isolation.
